Entrepreneur Rayhaan Survé has been named to the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list in recognition of his contributions to business, innovation, entrepreneurship and youth empowerment across South Africa.
In a LinkedIn post, Survé said he was honoured by the recognition and thanked Forbes Africa for highlighting “a community of young Africans building the continent’s future across business, technology, and innovation.” He added there is “far more to do” and called for continued work to build the systems needed to realise Africa’s potential.
Sekunjalo Investments Group CEO Lucien Jacobs praised the accolade as “a testament to his vision, leadership, dedication, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and driving positive impact.” Jacobs said Survé has shown a strong commitment to empowering young people and promoting economic inclusion through entrepreneurship and education.
Survé’s activities span the Survé Family Office and its operating businesses, with initiatives focused on sustainable aquaculture and food security. He is also the founder of iAccelerate SA, a youth entrepreneurship accelerator for public high school students in Cape Town.
According to Jacobs, Survé’s investments in young people and support for emerging talent are creating pathways for future success and contributing to a more prosperous Africa. Jacobs congratulated Survé on behalf of the Sekunjalo Group and said the recognition was well deserved.
