Kandi Burruss is speaking out against her ex-husband, Todd Tucker, after he publicly disclosed intimate details about their relationship, including that the couple had threesomes throughout much of their 11-year marriage.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star addressed his decision to share the information in a statement given to People. “A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Burruss, 50, said.
She added that what happens privately between a husband and wife should remain exactly that — private — and said Tucker’s recent behavior has only reinforced her decision to end the marriage. “His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!” she said.
Tucker’s revelation came via documentary trailer
Tucker, 53, who married Burruss in 2014 before their split was announced in November 2025, released the trailer for his film “‘Til Divorce Do Us Part” on Monday. In it, “RHOA” alum Peter Thomas asks Tucker directly whether he and Burruss had threesomes during their marriage.
“We did. I would say [for] most of our marriage, we did,” Tucker responded. When Thomas, 65, pressed him to confirm he was serious, Tucker did — prompting Thomas to exclaim, “I’m a saint!”
Burruss first announced her decision to divorce Tucker in a statement to People last year, saying that after “deep thought and a lot of prayer,” she had decided to move forward with the split. At the time, she said her focus remained on “protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be and co-parenting with love and respect.”
