Jayne Trcka, the professional bodybuilder best known for her role as Miss Mann in Scary Movie, has passed away. TMZ reports that the San Diego County Medical Examiner determined her cause of death to be hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, compounded by a left femoral fracture. The report also noted that chronic alcohol use contributed to her death, which has been ruled accidental.
Trcka was discovered unresponsive in the kitchen of her San Diego home in December after a friend, unable to reach her for several days, went to check on her and called 911. Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
Before her acting debut in 2000’s Scary Movie, Trcka had a successful bodybuilding career during the 1980s. Her memorable performance in the parody film opened doors to appearances on The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway? In addition to her entertainment work, she was also a licensed California realtor.
Throughout her career, Trcka was featured in numerous fitness publications, including Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women’s Physique World.
She was 62.
