On the 16th, comedy duo Bananaman’s Himura Yuki (53) appeared on the Nippon Television variety show “Boiling Word 10” (every Friday at 7:56pm). He revealed that he can’t hang from a horizontal bar.

On this day, the show aired “Legendary Housekeeper Shima’s New Home Renovation Documentary,” which renovates an old house. ACEes’ Ukisawa Hikaru and comedian Sunshine Ikezaki also joined the show to help out. First, they painted the ceiling of the main house, but Ikezaki and the others looked distressed as they had to constantly raise their arms.

Himura, who was watching this from the studio, began by saying, “I’m also the type who can never raise my hands…” to which his partner, Shitara Osamu, revealed the unexpected situation he’d found himself in, saying, “Himura-san was on a variety show where he had to hang from a horizontal bar, and when they asked him, ‘Who can hang on the longest,’ his face just got progressively purple…”

As the audience gasped in surprise, Himura pointed to the area around his carotid artery in his neck, saying, “This is where it gets clogged. If I do it for a minute, my face will turn completely purple,” explaining that it was due to his weight, which made the studio laugh.
