Japan: 42-year-old woman arrested for kidnapping teenage boy after taking him to hotel

A 42-year-old lady was detained by Hiroshima police on suspicion of abducting a teenage boy and bringing him to a hotel where he would partake in obscene acts.

Police said the youngster, whose age is unknown, met Shiho Ito, a school lunch chef from Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on a social media platform, according to Sankei Shimbun. On October 20, she asked him if he wanted to go to a hotel and set up a meeting with him on the street.

She took him to a motel in Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, after the youngster got into her vehicle.

When the youngster notified his parents about the event, Ito was taken into custody.
