Venezuela’s Oil Facilities Unscathed in US Strike, Sources Say

Venezuelan oil infrastructure has escaped damage following a recent U.S. military strike in the region, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The operation, which targeted suspected militant or illicit activity, raised initial concerns over potential disruptions to Venezuela’s already fragile oil sector.

Officials and energy analysts reported that key facilities belonging to the state-owned company PDVSA remained fully operational.

Early assessments indicate no significant harm to production sites, refineries, or export terminals. However, heightened security measures have been put in place amid fears of potential retaliatory actions or market instability.

While Washington has not formally commented on the specifics of the strike, diplomatic observers note that the incident could strain already tense relations between the United States and Venezuela.

Oil market watchers continue to monitor developments closely, as crude prices showed minor fluctuations in response to the news.
