Hollywood Stars Step Up for Eric Dane’s Family After His Death
Hollywood continues to show tremendous support for Eric Dane’s family following his passing, with Hailey Bieber making one of the most generous contributions yet.
The model and entrepreneur quietly donated $20,000 to a GoFundMe created to help Dane’s loved ones after his death from ALS. She joins several high-profile figures in honoring the late actor’s legacy through financial support.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband, producer Brad Falchuk, donated $10,000, while Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, and Disney Entertainment co-chair Dana Walden each contributed $5,000. Producer Randall Emmett — known for his past relationship with Lala Kent — matched Falchuk’s $10,000 donation.
Dane passed away Thursday after a long battle with ALS. His family said in a statement that he died peacefully, surrounded by his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, and their two daughters, Billie and Georgia.

Throughout his fight, Dane used his platform to raise awareness about ALS research and support others living with the disease. The outpouring of donations and tributes since his passing reflects the deep respect he earned across Hollywood — from actors to executives — ensuring his family feels the industry’s love and solidarity in this difficult time.
Dane was 53.
