Chicago Mass Shooting 1 Dead, 3 Injured

A deadly shooting early Sunday in Chicago’s River North neighborhood left one man dead and three others critically injured, according to police.

Authorities say the gunfire erupted around 2:35 a.m. as a group of men were getting into a car. Four unidentified suspects reportedly approached on foot, drew their weapons, and began shooting.

A 34-year-old man was struck multiple times and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Three others—a 36-year-old shot in the chest, a 43-year-old hit in the back, and a 35-year-old with multiple wounds—were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say the shooters fled in a vehicle before officers arrived. Investigators have focused on a green Porsche found at the scene surrounded by evidence markers. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
