Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, says the couple has developed a calm, mindful way of handling disagreements by meditating after difficult conversations.
The author and hypnotherapist spoke about their relationship during an appearance on Jamie Kern Lima’s YouTube show, saying he and Aniston sometimes meditate after arguments to help them reset and approach issues with less emotion. He also said they spend plenty of time talking through their problems.
Curtis added that on occasion they have used a simple four-line refrain — “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you” — to ease tension, though he said they do not rely on it regularly. He said practices like meditation can help couples remember that life is short and reduce the intensity of conflict.
Aniston and Curtis first sparked romance rumors after a trip to Mallorca last summer, and later made their relationship Instagram official in November, when Aniston referred to him as “my love.” The couple has largely kept things private, though they have been seen on several romantic trips in recent months.
