Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Make Unexpected Appearance at Vancouver Hockey Game
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting in the Canadian spirit with a game of ice hockey!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Vancouver on Saturday, Feb. 8 to attend the Vancouver Canucks vs. Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game after kicking off the 2025 Invictus Games.
Prince Harry, 40, made the ceremonial puck drop while joined on the ice by Canadian Invictus team members, Lee Jarratt and Andre Crocker. He previously made the ceremonial first puck drop ahead of the Canucks’ match against the San Jose Sharks in November 2023.
Meghan, 43, and Harry were then spotted in the stands at the Rogers Arena snuggling up together as they watched the game.
Meghan later reposted a reel on her Instagram Stories initially shared by the Canucks and NHL of her and Harry’s surprise appearance as they greeted members backstage at the arena and walked hand-in-hand down a hallway.
Meghan wore a long black coat with dark red lapels — that was strikingly similar to the coat she wore for her first royal tour with Harry in Sydney in 2018 — over a black high neck top, jeans and boots. Harry wore a gray sweater and white shirt under a peacoat with jeans.
