Power Book III: Raising Kanan’s official Season 4 premiere is scheduled for March 7 on Starz, and the network has released preview images of the upcoming show. Fridays will see the release of new episodes.

In Power Book III: Raising Kanan, the early years of everyone’s favorite villain—Kanan Stark, who was first portrayed by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in the flagship series—are examined, along with his transformation from a gullible adolescent to a cunning criminal. Kanan (Mekai Curtis) and his mother Raq (Patina Miller) engaged in an epic battle in Season 3, which led to a few unexpected deaths and the reappearance of a beloved character.

In Season 4, slates have seemingly been wiped clean for Kanan, Raq, and the rest of the Thomas family in pursuit of a fresh start. However, in the eye of the storm, one very dangerous obstacle looms large, Unique is alive. Unique (Joey Bada$$) makes a volatile and violent return, as he hunts to upend the lives of the Thomas family.

Amidst the chaos, the Thomas family faces a truth that can no longer be denied: You are who you are. Although you may be capable of change, the fundamentals remain the same, and sooner or later, you will be forced to confront the inescapable reality of your inherent nature.
