Trump Announces Christmas Bonuses for U.S. Military Members

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night that nearly 1.5 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces will receive a special Christmas bonus, calling it a “warrior dividend” in honor of America’s approaching 250th anniversary.

Speaking from the White House in a nationally televised address just days before Christmas, Trump said the payments are already being processed and will soon reach service members across all branches of the military.

“Nobody deserves it more than our military,” Trump said. “And I say congratulations to everybody.”

The president framed the initiative as both a gesture of gratitude and a symbol of national pride, emphasizing his administration’s longstanding commitment to veterans and active-duty personnel.
