Putin’s Residence Allegedly Targeted by Ukrainian Drones
Reports emerged this week alleging that Ukrainian drones attempted to target Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence. However, drone technology expert Cameron Chell has cast doubt on the credibility of these claims, calling such an operation “tactically implausible.”
Chell explained that penetrating the dense layers of Russian air defense surrounding the president’s residence would be “extremely difficult, if not impossible,” with current drone capabilities. He added that any such attempt would likely have been detected or intercepted long before reaching the area.
The Russian government has not publicly confirmed details of the alleged incident, and Ukraine has made no official statement regarding the reports. Analysts suggest that the claims may be part of ongoing information warfare between the two nations amid the continuing conflict.
