Fourth Arrest Made in Jewish Ambulance Arson Attack as London Court Hearing Unfolds

British police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the arson attack on a Jewish community ambulance service, with the detention occurring at a London court where three individuals already charged in the case were making their appearance, prosecutors confirmed on Saturday.

Hamza Iqbal, 20, Rehan Khan, 19, and a 17-year-old whose identity is protected by law, face charges of setting fire to four ambulances belonging to Hatzola — a Jewish volunteer emergency service — on March 23. The vehicles were targeted while parked near a synagogue in the Golders Green district of north London.

The attack drew immediate condemnation from the highest levels of government. Prime Minister Keir Starmer described it at the time as a “deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.”

The Crown Prosecution Service has indicated that four individuals were involved in carrying out the assault on the vehicles.

Meanwhile, SITE Intelligence Group has reported that an Iran-aligned multinational militant network known as the Islamic Movement of the People of the Right Hand claimed responsibility for the incident — a development that is likely to intensify scrutiny of foreign-linked extremist activity on British soil.
