Claire Danes broke down in tears upon learning she was pregnant with her third child at 44, calling the moment a total shock on the Good Hang podcast with Amy Poehler.

In “convulsive tears,” she phoned her OB-GYN, confessing, “It was a pure meltdown. None of this was by design—I didn’t know it was physically possible.”

Now 46, the Homeland star and husband Hugh Dancy welcomed their baby girl in 2023. They also parent sons Cyrus, 13, and Rowan, 7—births spaced roughly five years apart.
