Diddy Attorney He’ll Be Out Sooner Than Feds Think!!

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence following his conviction on two counts related to transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

The federal Bureau of Prisons has set his projected release date as May 8, 2028. This date accounts for the time he has already served since his arrest in September 2024, credited as time served. Combs has filed an appeal against both his conviction and sentence, hoping for a reconsideration.

Meanwhile, his legal team sought to have him transferred to a low-security federal prison in New Jersey to maximize his chances of rehabilitation through drug treatment programs, though the exact prison assignment remains under Bureau of Prisons’ discretion.

Prosecutors had sought a much longer sentence of 11 years, but the judge sentenced him to just over four years, along with a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release after prison. Combs has expressed taking accountability during sentencing and is working through his legal options, including appeals and potential pardon requests.
