Missing Teen Found Dead in Tesla Registered to Singer D4vd, Investigation Ongoing

The decomposed body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found stuffed in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to singer David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that Celeste had likely been deceased for several weeks before the discovery.

Authorities discovered the body on September 8 after the Tesla was towed to an impound yard in Hollywood, following complaints from residents about the car being parked on a Hollywood Hills street near where D4vd lived. The vehicle was ticketed for parking violations 11 days before the grim discovery. LAPD Capt. Scot Williams disclosed that the car had been stationary at the location for several weeks.

The cause and manner of Celeste’s death have not yet been determined by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, and no arrests or charges have been made. D4vd has not been identified as a suspect and remains cooperative with the ongoing investigation.

Details about how and when Celeste’s body was placed in the Tesla, as well as the nature of any relationship between her and the singer, remain unclear. Authorities have served search warrants at a property linked to D4vd, recovering various electronics and computers.

The investigation is continuing as police work to piece together Celeste’s final movements and clarify all aspects surrounding the case.

Meanwhile, D4vd abruptly canceled the remainder of his North American and upcoming European tour dates without explanation following the discovery.

A memorial service for Celeste Rivas Hernandez is scheduled in the coming days.
