WWE Legend Jerry “The King” Lawler Suffers Stroke, On Road to Recovery

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a stroke last Friday at his home in Florida, forcing him to pull out of a scheduled appearance at HorrorHound Weekend in Cincinnati. According to his daughter, Jerry is now back at his primary residence where he will rest and continue his recovery over the next few weeks.

This stroke is Lawler’s third major health scare in recent years, following strokes in 2018 and 2023, as well as a heart attack in 2012 during a WWE Raw broadcast. Despite these challenges, Lawler remains optimistic and is actively engaged in outpatient rehabilitation, focusing on regaining his speech and physical strength.

Fans last saw Lawler in February 2025 during a WWE Smackdown taping in Tennessee, where he was in good spirits. The wrestling icon, known as one of the greatest commentators and performers in WWE history, continues to receive support from fans and the wrestling community as he embarks on this recovery journey.

Wishing Jerry Lawler a full and speedy recovery.
