The Los Angeles Police Department reported that Lil Nas X faced three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. The incident occurred on Ventura Boulevard, where law enforcement confronted the rapper, who allegedly charged at the officers.

Following his arrest, Lil Nas X posted a $75,000 bail and was released from custody. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 15, 2025. If convicted, he could face up to five years in state prison.
