Hulk Hogan’s Wife Sky Daily Posts Emotional Tribute After His Death, Revealing He Was Dealing with ‘Health Issues’

Hulk Hogan’s wife Sky Daily posted an emotional tribute to the late professional wrestling and reality television star after his death, revealing that he “had been dealing with some health issues” as of late.

“I wasn’t ready for this…and my heart is in pieces,” Daily, Hogan’s third wifewrote on social media Friday, July 25. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, died Thursday, July 24 at the age of 71. Local officials said they responded to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Fla., after receiving a 911 call that morning for a cardiac arrest incident. The Clearwater Police Department said Hogan was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The pro wrestling star’s death came after his representatives and friends had publicly downplayed concerns about his health in recent months, with longtime friend and on-screen manager Jimmy Hart writing on social media Tuesday that Hogan’s health was “phenomenal.”

“This loss is sudden and impossible to process,” Daily, 46, wrote in her tribute. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”

Daily wrote that Hogan “loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all.”

“You meant everything to him,” Hogan’s wife told his fans.

“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home,” Daily added. “Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”

Daily and Hogan were first romantically linked in February 2022 when the yoga instructor and mother of three was spotted attending a Bret Michaels concert alongside Hogan, before he later confirmed their relationship.

The 12-time pro wrestling world champion announced his engagement to Daily in July 2023, and the couple tied the knot two months later during an intimate Florida ceremony.

“My new life starts now!” Hogan celebrated on Instagram in a post alongside video clips from their wedding.
