Before the child’s father allegedly killed her and two other people, the mother of a 4-year-old kidnapped child reportedly ran door to door pleading for assistance.
After being wounded, a Florida lady who was killed along with two other people in a shooting spree prior to the kidnapping of her 4-year-old daughter reportedly ran around her neighborhood begging for assistance.
According to a statement from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Mary Gingles, 34, was found dead in a massacre that authorities claim was committed by her estranged husband Nathan Gingles. Gingles is also accused of briefly kidnapping the couple’s child, Seraphine Gingles.
Officers first discovered Mary’s father David Pozner, 64, slain in the back patio of a Tamarac, Fla., residence after responding to reports of a shooting just after 6 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16.
They learned Seraphine was missing from the residence, naming Nathan a suspect and issuing an Amber Alert, which was called off after the child’s safe rescue hours later.
Mary was also missing at this time, mentioned as a possible abduction victim on the Amber Alert, per the Miami Herald.
Authorities found Mary fatally shot inside the residence of her neighbor Andrew Ferrin, 36. Ferrin was also killed in the spree.
Nathan was arrested in the nearby city of North Lauderdale, where Seraphine was found safe with him.
It seems that Mary had been approaching neighbors for assistance just prior to the murders.
According to a neighbor who spoke to Local 10, Mary rushed to her neighbors’ houses to beg for assistance before she was killed. The neighbor, who was not identified by the outlet, claimed that Mary left tracks in the area when she tried to flee. VISIT PEOPLE
