After receiving more than 300 false catfish complaints, BBC presenter Gethin Jones was banned from the dating app Hinge. Even though he was well-known, a lot of people on the platform questioned his sincerity, which resulted in several complaints and his eventual removal. On the podcast “Restless Natives,” Jones talked about this experience, expressing both humor and frustration.

The BBC presenter told the Restless Natives podcast hosts Martin Compston and Gordon Smart he was “kicked off” the platform twice for violating its codes of conduct.

Jones said: “I should know better to not verify my account.
