Donald Trump to hold D.C. rally on Jan. 19, the day before his inauguration
According to several people familiar with the planning, President-elect Donald Trump will host a rally-style event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on January 19, shortly before his inauguration.
About 20,000 people can fit in Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Capitals hockey team and the Washington Wizards basketball team. A sign-up link from the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee states that the “Make America Great Again Victory Rally” will begin at 3 p.m. ET.
On January 20, Trump will take the oath of office for a second term.
Trump has been appointing people to his second administration since defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in the November presidential election.
