Amazon Music Finally Has Its Own Version of Spotify Wrapped
If you use Amazon Music, you may feel left behind this time of year because Spotify and Apple Music users share their listening statistics from Wrapped and Replay, respectively. This year, however, things are a little different: It appears that Amazon has finally joined the end-of-year recap trend, introducing its own version to users called “Delivered.”
If you’ve ever used a platform that offers an annual recap, Amazon Music Delivered seems fairly standard: It summarizes your listening activity for 2024, including statistics like your top artists, songs, and podcasts of the year—if you used Amazon Music for podcasting, of course.
Additionally, according to them, you’ll notice any “hidden gems” you’ve found and the “top request” you made using Alexa on Amazon Music. Your social media accounts will undoubtedly be buzzing with that statistic.
Accordingly, some listeners could get a greeting from one of their best-known performers. Amazon said that you need a “Alexa-enabled” device to receive messages, although it did not identify which artists sent these messages.
Either way, it’s a significant improvement over the previous system: In the past, Amazon Music provided a yearly playlist that included your favorite songs from the previous year. However, this new feature provides a more interesting method to examine your listening habits for 2024, much like Spotify Wrapped.
