As the first official partnership between Hallmark and the NFL, Kansas City is celebrating the debut of Hallmark’s new Christmas film, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, this weekend. The love plot revolves around a loyal Chiefs fan and the team’s director of fan engagement, who are portrayed by Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, respectively. The movie is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, November 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
The festivities kick off with a special holiday-themed event on Friday, November 29, at 6:30 p.m. CT, following the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Notable guests include Mayor Quinton Lucas and the film’s lead actors. Holiday Touchdown was filmed in Kansas City over two weeks in July, including scenes shot at Arrowhead Stadium. The film features cameos from prominent figures in the Chiefs organization, such as head coach Andy Reid and Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother. The screenplay includes light references to Chiefs culture while focusing on a romantic narrative
