Must be such a great moment..! Football wins, BREST MOMENT!!!!!!!!!

The game was played at Guingamp’s Stade de Roudourou, which is some 114 kilometres away from Brest’s true home field. Only 5,000 of the 15,000 seats at Brest’s stadium complied with UEFA’s requirements, necessitating this move. As a result, UEFA granted permission for their European matches to be held in the larger 19,000-seat stadium.

In this historic debut, Brest won 2-1; just before halftime, Sturm Graz had equalised through an own goal; Abdallah Sima added another goal in the 56th minute.

After a fantastic season in the French league, coach Eric Roy’s club earned a spot in this esteemed competition. In the near future, Brest will play Salzburg, another Austrian team, on October

This win not only marked their first goal but also their first victory in European football, setting a positive tone for their campaign in this prestigious tournament. Magnetti expressed his pride in scoring this historic goal, stating that playing in the Champions League had been a childhood dream
