Celine Dion lambasts Trump for using the “Titanic” song at a rally without permission.
Canadian singer Celine Dion, who has won many awards, criticized former President Donald Trump.
After Trump sang her song “My Heart Will Go On” at a rally without consulting her first, she objected.
Before he approached the stage at a campaign rally in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday, his fans were treated to this well-known song from the 1997 Titanic movie.
Dion’s management clarified recently on X that she did not “endorse” the song’s use.
They said that the singer had just recently learned about it, as had her team.
“Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc, became aware of the unauthorised usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana,” the statement reads.
“In no way is this use authorised, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use… And really, THAT song?”
